ASICS Unveils Two Bright GEL-Preleus Colorways
“Aizuri Blue” and “Camel Beige.”

After its recent revival at the hands of Angelo Baque‘s Awake NY, ASICS‘ GEL-Preleus has returned in in-line “Aizuri Blue” and “Camel Beige.” colorways. A running shoe that debuted in the ’00s, the GEL-Preleus uses ASICS’ signature GEL cushioning and strong design lines, but uses an interesting last and wavy details to differentiate itself from other heritage models like the GEL-Kayano 5.
“Aizuri Blue” mixes bright ocean blue tones with metallic silver accents while “Camel Beige” looks instead to rich tan and wheat tones with a few small pops of bright pink. However, both are united by black midfoot Tiger stripes that fade into a wavy overlay, unique eyestays that rise all the way out of the toe cap and small branded hits on the tongue/around the collar. Down below, each style’s midsole is split in two by a flowing, debossed strike that leads to a sizable puck of GEL cushioning on the heel — blue for the “Aizuri Blue” and pink for the “Camel Beige.”
The ASICS GEL-Preleus “Aizuri Blue” and “Camel Beige” are both available now via NAKED, and each is priced at $116 USD.
