Offspring's Reebok Workout Plus Ice Celebrates Its "Community"
While throwing it back to the ’90s.
British sneaker retailer Offspring is all about its “Community,” and its latest collaboration with Reebok on the Workout proves just how integral its customers are to its identity.
By enlisting “Community” members to star in the sneaker’s campaign (which was also shot by Offspring “Community” member Mark Surridge), Offspring captures a sense of nostalgia of when hanging out with friends was all you needed (no, we’re not talking about pre-covid, but the 1990s).
The ’90s was the Reebok Workout’s peak era, specifically for the “ICE” version. This serves as the base for the Offspring collaboration, which is served up in cream or gray-centric colorways alongside a signature icy sole unit. The uppers are made from premium leather, while the “Community” tag runs across the shoe on taping that wraps around the heel.
Elsewhere, we find dual-branded windows and the Offspring mascot on the tongue tags, as well as laces that are equally branded up with Reebok and Offspring’s monikers. There’s a debossed lightning bolt on the heel, further mascot stamping on the insoles, and dual logo placement on the outsoles.
The Offspring x Reebok “Community Workout Plus…ICE” will drop on June 26 online and in-store. Take a look at the shoe in more detail above.
