Apple TV+ Drops Season 2 Trailer of 'Ted Lasso'
Returning to Apple TV + on July 23.
Apple TV+‘s comedy series Ted Lasso is making a return to the streaming platform for its second season this summer.
Apple has released the trailer for season two in a new two-minute promo that sees Jason Sudeikis reprise his role as the head coach of AFC Richmond, where he appears to be completely unfazed by the team’s recent demise and demotion into a lower-tiered division.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jason Sudeikis calls this season the Empire Strikes Back of the show, stating “People go into their caves and face their sh*t.” The series was initially renewed for a second season just a few days after the premiere of its debut season in August 2020. Ted Lasso was also picked up for Season 3, setting completion records for an Apple TV+ original series.
