Vin Diesel Hints at Cardi B's Return for 'Fast & Furious 10'

Just a little over a month after the official release of the ninth installment of Fast & Furious, it seems that the cast and production team are already looking into the potential plot line for the franchise’s tenth sequel.

Cardi B plays Leysa in the most recent Fast & Furious film and it seems like she will soon become a permanent fixture in the franchise world. In a recent interview with ET, Vin Diesel hinted at Cardi B’s return, stating “We are very much excited to evolve her character and to expand it to the finale. She made it just in time. She came in Fast 9 just in time.”

Director of F9 Justin Lin praised Cardi on her presence in the film and acknowledged that her role in the Fast & Furious universe has only strengthened the storyline. He adds, “And I love how when I got together with her, her and Vin were talking about the character because she’s actually really embedded into the overall universe, she’s been around for a long time and this is just the first time we are seeing her, so I’m really excited to explore that character of her.”

F9 returns to theaters on June 25.
