The New Balance 327 has become a firm favorite in the sportswear brand’s roster, finding itself at the center of collaborations with Casablanca, BEAUTY & YOUTH, and Levi’s. In between all of these collabs were general releases that all proved the silhouette is a sell-out regardless of color, collaboration or rarity, and this new “Gray/Purple” iteration is sure to be another hit.
So, as for this version, you’ll find a 327 made from suede and nylon with the former encompassing the toe box, vamp, eyestay placket, rear quarter, and heel, while nylon has been used for the base. Contrasting this is a large “N” logo on the lateral side in purple, while the medial is left clean and just a small “new balance” stamp appears on the rear quarter.
The tongue is served up in white nylon and is graced with an “NB” tongue tag and a set of crisp white flat laces. In usual 327 form, a chunky midsole is contrasted with a thin yet traction-packed black outsole which wraps up and around the back of the shoe.
