After partnering on the delayed M1300CL “Orange Tab” earlier this year, New Balance and Levi’s have now presented their Fall/Winter 2020 collaboration. This releases focuses on the 327 silhouette, undoubtedly New Balance’s hero sneaker of the past year, which has been given a denim twist by Levi’s.
The three colorways in the pack all feature an asymmetric design, with hits of denim appearing across the uppers. The men’s styles are available in either a “Navy/Indigo/White” colorway or “Navy/White/Grey,” while the silhouette is given a “Grey/Sky Blue/White” colorway in women’s sizing. All colorways feature a ’70s-style waffle sole, New Balance “N” logo and a Lei’s red tab on the side.
As well as the collaborative footwear, New Balance and Levi’s are also readying an apparel capsule. The focal point is the reversible padded Trucker Jacket, with three different versions available. Each side of the jacket represents a different brand, with a Levi’s side featuring a denim patchwork, while the New Balance side displays a giant logo. The jacket is available in either indigo, three shades of grey or a mix of sky blue, grey and white. Lastly, the two brands are set to release a graphic T-shirt featuring a collage advertising from the two brands.
Levi’s isn’t the only brand to work with New Balance recently. The footwear label also recently debuted a shark-themed collaboration with Shoe Palace.
