Levi's x New Balance M1300CL "Orange Tab" Release Postponed for April (UPDATE)
Celebrating heritage branding and American craftsmanship.

Update (March 25, 2020): A representative for New Balance reached out to inform us that the release of this collaboration has been postponed for April. “To ensure the safety of all, Levi’s and New Balance have decided to postpone the international launch of its upcoming collaboration. The Levi’s x New Balance limited-edition 1300 sneaker will now be available on Friday, April 24 exclusively on Levi.com and New Balance.com.”
Original Story (March 5, 2020): New Balance’s joint efforts with American workwear imprints continue, following last year’s Red Wing collaboration with a sneaker designed by denim giant Levi’s. Like that previous partnership, the remixed M1300CL “Orange Tab” sports top-notch fabrication, abetted by thoughtful touches that nod to Levi’s heritage.
Repurposing Levi’s retro orange tab branding, the 1300 sneakers sport thematic warm-hued pops across the upper, which is crafted from plush suede and deadstock Cone Mills White Oak XX52 denim. In line with last year’s Nike Air Force 1 collaboration, the New Balance shoes boast a tiny orange tab stitched to the left sneaker, complementing the branding on the insole and the matching box’s “Levi’s for Feet” text, a nod to a discontinued in-house footwear line.
Select stockists, including Levi’s website, BEAMS’ site, UNITED ARROWS’ web store, Levi’s flagships and Dover Street Market Ginza, will receive the limited edition New Balance 1300 on March 26.
Both American imprints have stayed busy with international collaborations, including the recent BAPE x Levi’s range and forthcoming Casablanca x New Balance silhouettes.
