A 'Cinderella Man'-Engraved Rolex Submariner Is Now for Sale
Gifted by Russell Crowe to a staff member on set.
A very special watch has just landed on FOG CITY Vintage’s website. This particular watch was previously gifted by Russell Crowe to a member on set and was purchased in Toronto in 2005 to commemorate the filming of Cinderella Man. The 2004 Rolex Submariner ref. 16610 comes with full box and papers and sees special engravings in the form of “Cinderella Man 2004” at the top and “Vincit Qui Se Vincit – RC” at the bottom.
Crowe is known to be quite the watch collector, often buying a new watch for each film premiere or to celebrate the wrapping up of production — he sadly had to auction quite a few of his pieces off at his divorce auction.
