Nike's Air Zoom-Type Gets Understated "Ashen Slate" Makeover
Complete with a neon Zoom Air puck insert.
Nike has offered a new summer-friendly colorway of its Air Zoom-Type, an understated “Ashen Slate” makeover built with a handful of hi-tech materials.
Starting at the top of the shoe is an “N. 354” tag stitched over a suede tongue. A tall “NIKE” pull tab appears at the back of the collars, complemented by a tonal leather panel below. Most of the uppers feature blue mesh, bringing out the neon-colored Swoosh on the sidewalls. Other details like round laces, rubber eyelet panels and batted paneling round off the uppers’ design. All of these features rest over a sleek white midsole, finished off with a neon-tinted Zoom Air puck insert at the front.
Nike’s Air Zoom-Type “Ashen Slate” is currently available on Nike’s website for $150 USD.
In case you missed it, here’s another recent iteration of Nike’s Air Zoom Type “Coconut.”
