sacai Joins Forces With Emotionally Unavailable for a Scrabble-Inspired Collection

Emotionally Unavailable has tapped sacai for its latest Scrabble-inspired collaboration capsule. As a result of a long-time friendship between the two brands, the collection blends sacai’s most iconic MA-1 design with the nostalgic word-focused boardgame.
KB Lee of Emotionally Unavailable first developed the concept when he was playing scrabble with his niece and nephew. Lee quickly grew inspired by the way words can connect and transform on the Scrabble board. Thus, sprouted the board game-motivated design which notes the deep association the brands have with one another. With the latest capsule, the friendship of sacai and Emotionally Unavailable have now been immortalized in the form of a one-of-a-kind collection. The hidden meaning behind the design indicates that the connection between the two, go beyond words, but are rooted in many years of history.
The collection features a full jacket, shirt and pants combo. sacai’s signature MA-1 bomber jacket silhouette is adorned in a Scrabble board pattern, showcasing the two brand names, sacai and Emotionally Unavailable, intertwined. The same detail is plastered a silk button-shirt and trouser. Rapper 24KGoldn can be seen modelling the entire look in the lookbook above.
The special collaboration will be available in sacai flagship stores worldwide.
