Hasbro‘s Candy Land has served as a popular board game since its debut in 1949, and now its sugary sensibilities are being called upon to outfit a collection of classic Reebok silhouettes. This collaborative collection is unveiled hot off the heels of Brain Dead uncovering its Japanese Sofubi Kaiju toy-inspired Zig Kinetica II collection.

Headliners of the footwear capsule fall under the retro basketball category as the Question Mid “Sweet Moves” and Kamikaze II “Bring the Sweet” are implemented. Allen Iverson‘s signature kicks are reimagined with purple dot patterns to call out the game board’s “dot spots” while the throat is cooked up with a grassy material that channels the board’s background color. Additionally, the uppers also sport Rainbow Trail–inspired windows that are planted onto the mid-foot. The Kamikaze II pair dials up the playfulness even further as its patent leather base is blends together vivid hues that are symbolic of Candy Land’s winding Rainbow Path. Star arrows are also printed on the interiors of the tongues to further echo its motif.

Options for the kids are also incorporated into this new range such as the Classic Leather “Where Kandy Rules” and the Club C 85 “Make the Journey”, the former of which represents the colorful trek to King Kandy’s Castle while the latter pays tribute to the game’s Rainbow Path.

The Reebok x Candy Land collection launches globally on April 21 via Reebok.

Elsewhere in footwear, Japanese Boutique 1LDK recently cooked up a clean Reebok Club C 85 collab.
