Earlier this year, NEIGHBORHOOD and UNDEFEATED kicked off a string of collaborative endeavors with a concise capsule of blacked-out graphic goods. The duo have also introduced a set of remixed adidas sneakers to accompany the brief apparel drop, this time taking on the ZX 8000 silhouette.

Far from the first time NEIGHBORHOOD has tackled the ZX series (or even a three-way adidas collab), these ZX 8000 are two of the Japanese label’s more understated takes on the Three Stripes’ footwear. Realized in understated white and black editions, the shoes both sport gum soles beneath a mostly tonal mesh and nubuck upper, mingling with contrasting grey accents and co-branding printed atop the tongues and adjacent to the eyestays, which are threaded with patterned laces. Each company’s logo is emblazoned on the heel of the special sneakers, ensuring that their collaborative nature is unmistakable.

Accompanying the shoes, NEIGHBORHOOD and UNDEFEATED have cooked up a trio of versatile staples. A black long-sleeved T-shirt and two short-sleeved counterparts are finished with rugged white motifs that include barbed wire, knives, dual logos and “SOMEDAY THIS PAIN WILL BE USEFUL” verbiage, underscoring a rugged notion that surfaced in the pair’s first joint effort earlier this year.

Look for the NEIGHBORHOOD collaboration to arrive at UNDEFEATED’s web store and UNDEFEATED Japan April 16.

While NEIGHBORHOOD delves deeper into gardening gear, UNDEFEATED recently reissued its collaborative Nike Kobe 4 Protro series.
