Nike Gives the Iconic All-White Air Force 1 Low a Twist
By tweaking its materials and swapping out the lace deubre.

“Iconic,” “legendary” and “influential” are adjectives that are all too commonplace in the modern-day world of sneakers, but Nike‘s all-white Air Force 1 Low is one of the rare shoes that they truly apply to. It’s a true lifestyle classic, one of the most quintessential and recognizable sneakers in the world today. Nike Sportswear is well aware of this, and has now given the always-appealing all white AF1 a small twist via alternate materials and different lace deubres.
The color scheme may remain unchanged, but the devil is in the details: tumbled leather replaces standard smooth white leather on the entirety of the upper, save for the pebbled, basketball-like leather on the Swooshes. Nylon tongues and white laces remain unchanged, but the shoe’s most immediately noticeable difference appears at the bottom of this assemblage thanks to a bold gold lace deubre in place of standard silver. Tongue badges and heel tabs add a little more tonal branding, and the look is completed by white rubber midsoles and outsoles. Though this design is not officially marketed as an Air Force 1 Craft, its attention to detail and welcome upgrades give off the same premium air.
This all-white Air Force 1 Low is available on the Nike webstore now, and is priced at $90 USD.
