PUMA looks back through its archives and revisits the iconic Mirage sneaker. The OG was first introduced over half a century ago as a lightweight track and field shoe, it was then reissued during the first jogging craze in the ‘90s. Now, the German sportswear brand revamps the classic silhouette with influences from the bright world of Electronic Dance Music (EDM).

The Mirage Tech serves as the latest release in the brand’s continuing futuristic reinterpretations of retro silhouettes. Inspired by the neon lights, energy and atmosphere of live EDM shows, the sneaker adopts trippy neon green and purple accents contrasting with its subtle grey colorway. As a Vegan certified product, synthetic leather overlays adorn the mesh upper with its extended TPU heel and protruding midsoles adding to its futuristic design.

The PUMA Mirage Tech is now available to purchase from the brand’s website, PUMA stores and select stockists worldwide, retailing for 469 AED (approximately $127 USD).
