'Yu-Gi-Oh!' Cosplaying Chef Finds His Homemade Obelisk The Tormentor Costume Selling for $6,000 USD
The unauthorized seller even used his Comiket convention photo.
Yu-Gi-Oh! fan/cosplayer/chef Amakudari has just uploaded a new video expressing disappointment from a recent Amazon listing he came across.
Known for his cooking videos where he wears a full, cumbersome Obelisk The Tormentor costume he made himself, the YouTuber goes on to explain that the Amazon listing uses a photo of him in the costume from a past Comiket convention and that he never gave permission for his own design to be remade. The listing goes on to read that the costume is made to order and that there are no refunds once purchases. The thing that is most shocking about him finding his own costume being sold without authorization is the price at which it is listed for — ¥622,900 JPY (approximately $5,730 USD).
Check out the listing here for more details, and don’t forget to check out Amakudari’s cooking videos over on his YouTube channel.
