Nike SB Blazer Mid Gets Styled with Distressed Suede
A nod to the wear and tear that skateboarding puts on your shoes.
Skateboarding takes a toll on your shoes. Ollies, flip tricks and even pushing all contribute to a skate sneaker’s often rapid deterioration, so Nike‘s Nike SB label is nodding to the wear and tear of skateboarding with its new two-pack of pre-distressed SB Blazer Mids. Both of these mid-cut takes on the SB Blazer feature worn-in detailing atop a sturdy, skate-ready construction — meaning that even though they look as if they’ve already been through many a session, they’re ready for anything and everything you can throw at them.
The first style is a vibrant “Light Dew/Green Glow/Arctic Punch/Light Citron” that mixes a soft blue upper with yellow Swooshes and tongues plus a pink heel piece. The second is a darker “Black/Coconut Milk/Light Dew/Light Dew,” on which the wear is much more noticeable due to a full faded black upper with ever-so-faint teal Swooshes and a discolored midsole. Each is built fully of suede, boasts an exposed foam tongue and loads a Zoom Air cushioning unit into the heel for a responsive feel
Expect both of these “well-worn” Nike SB Blazer Mids to release via Nike GB and SB stockists like The Berrics Canteen on March 25. The MSRP for each pair is set at $85 USD.
