Air Max Day – the annual holiday by
While each foot is predominantly done up with crispy white leathers that backdrop the mid-foot and forefoot alike, the accents and history-inspired embellishments on this offering are presented in mismatching fashion. Air Max 90 “Infrared” elements are shown off through the upper eye stays, while the toe boxes split between tonally stitchings of the Air Max Plus on the right side and the Air Max 98 on the left. Tongue branding alternates between the AM Plus badge on the right, and the Air Max 97 Swoosh on the opposite side. Heel counters are ornamented with a debossed “3.26” hit to nod to the date of Air Max Day, while its counterpart features a patent leather Nike Air hit that’s painted in red. Each Swoosh is dialed to a different hue to reflect that of the Air Max 93 “Menthol” on the lateral left, Air Max 95 “Neon” on the medial side, while the right side dons the Air Max 180 “Ultramarine” on the exterior.
Expect these to see an official release by Nike on March 26, 2021 for $140 USD.
For other sneaker news, an Air Max 1-inspired Nike Air Max Plus has been revealed.
