Oi Polloi Spotlights PUMA's 1970 Delphin in Latest Lookbook
Set for an updated release later this month.
Manchester-based retailer Oi Polloi has revealed its latest quintessentially British lookbook, in which it spotlights the legendary PUMA Delphin ahead of its re-release later this month.
The Delphin — the German for ‘Dolphin’ — was originally released in the 1970s as the brand’s running trainer. Thanks to its lightweight build and low-profile it soon became more of an all-round athletics shoe, although its premium suede upper often saw it kept for inside activities only.
Revived countless times since its initial launch some 50 years ago, the Delphin has been updated and refreshed for 2021 and takes centre stage — alongside the PUMA Suede Vintage — in Oi Polloi’s latest Manchester-shot lookbook.
Arriving in either “Peacoat/White”, “American Beauty/Peacoat” or “White/American Beauty”, the PUMA Delphin is set to launch on the Oi Polloi webstore on March 16 and will retail at £80 (approximately $110 USD).
