KRAKATAU Ventures Into Everyday Wear for SS21
Debuting a selection of sweats and T-Shirts, alongside its weather-proof outerwear.
After its unlikely link up with internet security firm KASPERSKY for its previous release, St. Petersburg-based label KRAKATAU returns for 2021 with an expanded Spring/Summer collection.
The Russian brand — that has described its collections as “Antagonist Survival Kit” since its birth in 1999 — has extended its offering for SS21, to include not only the weather-resistant garments it’s become renowned for, but everyday staple pieces too.
Sweatshirts, faded neon T-Shirts, jumpsuits and windbreakers arrive, alongside KRAKATAU’s usual offering of waterproof raincoats which have been crafted using a biodegradable polyurethane material. A women’s raincoat completes the collection, which has been dressed in a vibrant red colorway to show support and raise awareness of victims of domestic violence.
