New Balance's Latest Duo of 327s Are "the Intelligent Choice"
The retro-inspired runner arrives in “Outerspace” and “Aluminum” colorways, both bearing text-printed medial walls.
New Balance has released two new takes on its 327, offered in subtle but striking colorways: “Outerspace with light gray” and “Aluminum with covert green.” There are also pops of color on both pairs in the form of lime green and bright orange lace guards for the “Aluminum” and “Outerspace, respectively.
The popular retro-inspired silouhette takes notes from popular New Balance ’70s running shoes, while updating them for a contemporary spin on the sneaker’s heritage. Modern touches arrive in the form of a dynamic, mixed-material upper combining nylon, mesh and suede components. The suede exoskeletons encase nylon walls on both sides of the shoe. The lateral wall shows off oversized “N” logo branding, while the nylon panel across the medial side is decorated with a repeating text print which reads “The Intelligent Choice.” The EVA midsole unit is encased by the eye-catching studded outsole, borrowed from the 320, which extends into a heel counter and wraps around the toebox.
The “Outerspace” colorway is now sold out, but the “Aluminum” pair is still available at the New Balance web store for $89.99 USD.
New Balance also recently partnered with Foot Locker for two pairs of 327s, offering a muted grayscale option for men and a multicolored spin in women’s sizes.
