Ahead of its upcoming release in May, Disney+ has offered Star Wars fans a closer look at the animated series The Bad Batch in an all-new, action-packed trailer.
Set after the events of the Clone Wars and Revenge of the Sith, The Bad Batch revolves around a group of elite clone troopers that carry genetic mutations, making them different from their battle-brothers. Finding a rebellious spirit in them, each of the five members of Clone Force 99 exhibit exceptional combat skills and talents in specific fields, making them dangerous not only to enemies but also to the Empire. Making their way through an evolving galaxy after Order 66 and the fall of the Jedi, the squad of elite soldiers finds themselves turning from hunters to the hunted.
For fans of Star Wars, The Bad Batch will premiere on Disney+ on May 4, Star Wars Day, with a special 70-minute first episode.
