BYBORRE Showcases Innovative Materials With Edition8 Collection
The concise collection focuses on sustainable and conscious designs.

After previewing its Edition8 collection last year, innovative Netherlands-based label BYBORRE has now launched the collection, which focuses on sustainable and conscious designs. The collection was designed as lockdown measures were introduced last year, meaning BYBORRE decided to streamline its textile design, production process and overall outcomes.
Throughout Edition8, the label focuses on themes such as mono-ingredient yarn usage, prolonging of product lifespans and post-use impact. Highlights in the new collection cover an all-new knit type — constructed from an open-interlock two layered structure, giving a mesh-like texture that is breathable and adaptable — as well as a tailored suit in engineered knits and an Overshirt and Weight Map Cardigan designed in a custom woven textile. Alongside its new stand-out items, BYBORRE also reworks some of its Fundamentals for Edition8, including its Tapered Crop Pants, Loose Hoodie and Weightmap Sweater.
Rounding out the collection are two special-edition capsules, beginning with a range of GORE-TEX pieces. These items include the returning Field Jacket and Weightmap Cropped Pants, as well as the new lightweight Cardigan, all of which blend GORE-TEX’s water-repellent Infinium textiles with BYBORRE’s soft and breathable designs. Additionally, the label introduces a dedicated Woolmark capsule designed to celebrate how wool can work in warmer climates.
