Hasbro subsidiary Wizards of the Coast has officially announced that Magic: The Gathering Arena is available on mobile devices worldwide.

Fans of Magic: The Gathering can now download the app for free on the App Store and Google Play and experience a digital card collecting rendition of the popular trading card game. Players can now seamlessly manage and grow their Magic: The Gathering Arena collection at their fingertips. Similar to the physical TCG, all MTG Arena cards can be built into different sets, played with different formats, and include events deck building and many more action supported by the mobile and tablet devices.

MTG’s latest Kaldheim set will also be made available for players. Players with existing Wizards Account can access their original MTG Arena collection as well as match up against other players to complete quests together.

Chris Cao, executive producer at Wizards of the Coast said, “The phenomenal growth and popularity of Magic: The Gathering Arena has been driven by our dedicated community of players and fans – and we couldn’t be more grateful for their passion and support as we continue to evolve the brand to new platforms and experiences. Today’s launch of MTG Arena on mobile and tablet devices marks a very important step to bringing the game of Magic to everyone, anywhere, any way they want to play.”

Magic: The Gathering Arena users playing on their mobile devices will have the opportunity to connect with those playing on tablets, Windows PC or Mac OS. The app is now available to download on the App Store and Google Play.
