The NBA has finally landed on a March 7, 2021 date to host the 2021 All-Star game, and while the venue is still up in the air,, there’s one aspect about the traditional cream of the crop hoops game that’s certain, and that’s the plans from Nike to release celebratory footwear. One entry involved is the Nike Dunk High “All-Star” which has just been unveiled by way of detailed imagery.

In the same vein as the recently-surfaced All-Star-themed Air Foamposite One, this high-profile installment leans on glossy overlays and minty color-blocking to guide its overall design. The former is shown off via the black patent leathers overlapped across the base layer which also come treated with tonal psychedelic patterns throughout. Swooshes atop the lateral and medial walls are also given the same aesthetic. From there, it’s the “Barely Green” hue that takes over and spills onto the tumbled leather toe boxes, quarters and ankle collars, as well as on the laces and NBA All-Star Indianapolis badges attached to the lower lateral heel.

Neutral tones make their way to the pieces that reside down under, the midsole showing up in a crisp white while the treading is flooded in pitch black.

These are expected to launch via select retailers like Asphalt Gold on March 9 for €109 (approx. $133 USD).

For more footwear news, detailed shots of the Nike Dunk Low “Team Green” have surfaced.
