Stone Island Shadow Project SS21 Realizes Lightweight, Packable Layers
An inviting array of GORE-TEX, Polartec and custom textiles in bold dyes.

After introducing its latest Ghost Pieces offering, Stone Island is debuting the latest from its top-shelf Shadow Project imprint. The progressive sub-label is taking an lightweight tact this season, eschewing heavy fabrics for breathable construction and packable features, essential for dressing in transitional seasons.
Alongside the usual slip-on sneakers and a selection of engineered knit pullovers and zippered cardigans, Shadow Project has hardwearing outerwear to spare. A red fishtail parka and twin-zip shell are both realized with GORE-TEX Paclite for minimal weight and maximum windproofing, while a trim nylon liner jacket sports an infusion of Polartec Alpha, giving the stretchable item versatility in a host of different climes.
Elsewhere, signature graphic T-shirts and relaxed bermuda shorts are beach-ready, while a Hollowcore polyester over-shirt and trousers are all-season essentials. Zippered vents on the latter two allow for extra ventilation when needed, reinforcing the collection’s multi-purpose motif.
