NBA YoungBoy Releases New Track "Toxic Punk"
Fuelling rumors of an upcoming project.
NBA YoungBoy is continuing his track release streak from 2020, dropping yet another single, “Young Punk”. The latest song comes just months after he welcomes his seventh child, Kentrell Gaulden Jr. just weeks ago in January.
The surprise track differs from previous releases as the Baton Rouge artist leans towards a pop-rock inspired melody in this newest heartfelt track. Fans can hear YoungBoy expressing his upset and frustration about a failed relationship. He goes on to reflect on the events happening around him, but nothing else seems to occupy his mind more than the feeling of defeat.
It appears that YoungBoy has kept himself busy despite the birth of his children. He had only released his newest mixtape, Until I Return back in November. In the same month, YoungBoy dropped a joint album with Rich The Kid titled Nobody Safe. By December 2020, he released three additional singles, “Blow Yo’ Rocket”, “How I Been” and “It Ain’t Over”. Having just announced “Young Punk” this month, this is probably the longest YoungBoy has gone without dropping a new track or album.
