YoungBoy Never Broke Again could be saying goodbye to music.

In a recent Clubhouse conversation with DJ Akademiks, the Louisiana rapper revealed that he has not felt the same way about music for a while now. “I lost love for music and it brings too many problems,” NBA YoungBoy admitted. “I been waiting to stop making music for about one and a half years.”

The revelation arrives shortly after all the music videos on his YouTube channel — the platform where he first gained a loyal following — mysteriously disappeared. The issue has not been addressed so far and it is unclear whether it was the artist’s doing or YouTube’s.

NBA YoungBoy, however, revealed that his plans to hang his career up will have to wait as he is dropping new music on December 3. “Friday. I’m gonna drop Friday. I’m gonna drop a video tomorrow though,” he confirmed.

Elsewhere in music, Drake and Bad Bunny have been named Spotify’s most-streamed global and US artists of 2021.
