The Berrics is releasing a limited-edition Diamond x Already Been Chewed collaboration featuring 150 signed skateboards, tees and hoodies.
Designer Nicky Diamond, Already Been Chewed’s Barton Damer and skateboarders Steve Berra and Kareem Campbell chatted with The Berrics about how the collaboration came to be.
“When I reached out to Barton he was like ‘Man, I’m a fan of Diamond, I’m from the skate industry, I’ve been doing this stuff for 10, 20 years,’ however long it was,” Diamond said. “What a perfect marriage of brands to work together, both coming from skateboarding.”
Damer said that Barton was excited to get into the NFT space, and his outpost already had experience in the digital realm. The first collaboration the two designers did together was an NFT with Ben Baller of a melting basketball, and from there, they created merchandise and skateboards to accompany the digital works.
