Celebrate the Holidays in ‘The Grinch’s’ Mt. Crumpit Cave
The multi-level, 5,700 square foot space brings the Dr. Seuss character to life.

Dr. Seuss Enterprises has teamed up with vacation rental platform Vacasa to provide a unique travel experience at Mt. Crumpit Cave, the fictional dwelling place of Dr. Seuss’s grumpy holiday character the Grinch.
Located just outside of Boulder, Utah, the residence rests within a hand-carved cave on the side of a large stone mountain. The multi-level 5,700 square foot cave has been outfitted with a stocked kitchen, master bedroom, guest bedroom, study and a music room that features the Grinch’s organ and Max’s drum set. Additionally, the unique space includes the Grinch’s gadgets, like his furry green armoire, large eccentric machine, a full body brush and more.
With a nightly rate of $19.57 USD in honor of the book’s original 1957 release, guests can book the Grinch’s cave on Vacasa’s website starting Friday, December 3, for stays leading up to Christmas from December 13-23. Interested parties can visit vacasa.com/Grinch for a 3D tour of the unique cave.
