Drake Drops New OVO “Winter Survival Collection” for Fall/Winter 2021
Made to “bounce-off” the cold.
Recently making headlines for his Free Larry Hoover Concert with Kanye West and for withdrawing his 2022 Grammy nominations, Drake has announced his new drop for the Fall/Winter 2021 season.
The design collective OVO, short for October’s Very Own, launched its “Winter Survival Collection,” inspired by the rapper’s icy hometown cold-weather. Key items include puffer jackets, vests, and parkas made with 700-fill down and OEKO-TEX® certified down feathers. Broken down into three style categories, the collection offers a “Bounce” jacket and vest in cloud blue, nightblack and silverstone colorways; an “Advance” jacket and vest in midnight blue and nightblack; and a “Stance” parka available in nightblack.
With the success of its previous BAPE, Jurassic Park and NBA collaborations, OVO – which is co-owned by Drake, Oliver El-Khatib and Noah Shebib – continues to move the brand forward with cutting-edge design, unique partnerships and implementations of sleek practicality.
The current line was produced in Europe and developed with advanced Italian water-repellant and quick-drying fabrics made to “bounce-off the cold,” says the brand.
The new OVO collection is now available to shop in-store and online at octobersveryown.com.
In other news, a new study suggests that Drake’s songs make people run slower.
