New Balance’s 992 Given a Juicy Purple Makeover
Available exclusively at Asphaltgold.

New Balance’s 992 silhouette had quite the 2020. After finding itself at the heart of collaborations with JJJJound and WTAPS, the Boston-based sneaker label rounded off the year with a Christmas-themed release alongside Ronnie Fieg’s KITH.
Now, as we begin to settle into 2021, New Balance reveals the popular silhouette in its latest colorway: a vibrant purple and gray.
Sat atop the brand’s quintessential ABZORB midsole, smooth suede purple overlays partner a darker shaded mesh on the upper, alongside numerous reflective panels, while the midfoot’s N logo and matching tongue is dressed in its traditional gray and white.
Available exclusively at Asphaltgold via an Instagram raffle, each pair of sneakers arrives accompanied by a free pair of matching logo crew socks. Set for release on January 12, New Balance’s 992 purple and gray will retail at €219 (approximately $270 USD).
