'Doctor Strange 2' and 'Loki' Writer Michael Waldron Joins Kevin Feige's 'Star Wars' Movie
Penning the script for the Marvel chief’s debut into the ‘Star Wars’ universe.

The long-rumored Star Wars project from Marvel chief Kevin Feige has now secured a writer, tapping the studio’s very own veteran screenwriter Michael Waldron.
The yet-untitled project has long been teased by both Disney and the Feige himself, who spoke about it rather cryptically back in 2019 during a podcast appearance with The Hollywood Reporter. Little has been revealed about the project ever since, but now reports suggest that Waldron — who also wrote for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and the Loki series on Disney+ — will be penning the script for the mysterious project.
As for the Star Wars universe in general, Disney has recently announced on an investors day that it’ll be producing a whole roster of new series for Disney+, which includes some highly-anticipated titles such as a spin-off series for Ahsoka follower her explosive appearance on The Mandalorian, another spin-off similarly for Boba Fett, a series named Andor following Diego Luna’s character from Rogue One, and a series set in the same timeline as The Mandalorian named Rangers of the New Republic.
In other entertainment news, Amber Heard is rumored to star in her own Mera spin-off series from Aquaman.
