Disney+ Announces 20 New Projects Across Marvel and 'Star Wars'
Hayden Christensen returns as Darth Vader while Ahsoka and War Machine each get standalone series.

During its four-hour investor day on Thursday, Disney announced a whopping 20 new titles spanning across the Star Wars franchise and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, releasing various teasers and trailers along the way for a closer look at some of these upcoming projects as well.
STAR WARS
On the Star Wars side, Disney confirmed a handful of previous rumors and announcements, including Taika Waititi working on yet-unnamed feature film. The highlight of the announcements though was no doubt Hayden Christensen‘s return as Anakin/Darth Vader in the upcoming Kenobi series alongside his prequels co-star Ewan McGregor, as well as a bunch of new shows coming to Disney’s streaming platform Disney+. Rosario Dawson‘s Ahsoka will be getting a standalone series based in The Mandalorian‘s timeline, while another series named Rangers of the New Republic will be based in the same context.
Diego Luna reprises his role from Rogue One in the new series Andor, and Lando Calrissian will also get his own show. Other projects announced include the Patty Jenkins-directed Rogue Squadrons, a mystery series called The Acolyte, a Clone Wars spinoff named The Bad Batch, and a series of animated short films titled Visions.
