Star Wars smash hit television series The Mandalorian will drop its second season on Disney+ this October. Lucasfilm and Disney made the announcement today that the show will arrive on streaming services on October 30, ahead of Halloween.

The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire following Star Wars: Episode VII – Return of the Jedi and follows the titular bounty hunter (Pedro Pascal) on various adventures while protecting the Child. The Child, formally known as Baby Yoda, has become a pop culture icon following the series’ first season, spawning several plushes, figures, and memorabilia ahead of the arrival of official merch.

The show wrapped production just a few days before worldwide production shutdown due to the COVID-19. Season 3 is also reportedly in the works. The first season was nominated for 15 Emmy Awards, including outstanding drama series.
