In celebration of 35 years worth of Super Mario Bros., Nintendo announced a slew of Mario news, including ports of classic 3D Mario titles for the Nintendo Switch. Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy will all arrive as one collection later this month. Each game features higher resolution graphics and optimized gameplay for the console. Additionally, the compilation includes an in-game music player to hear the soundtrack from all three games, which can be also used when the Switch screen is off.

Nintendo also announced Super Mario Bros. 35, a 35-player free-for-all battle royale that functions similarly to Tetris 99. All three players compete in a race through classic Super Mario levels to see who can survive the longest. Enemies defeated can be launched to opponents screen and players will be able to spend their coins on an “item roulette” wheel for power-ups.

Super Mario 3D World, previously released on the Wii U, will arrive on the Nintendo Switch. In addition to the base game, players will also have access to additional bonus content called Bowser’s Fury. Lastly, a remake of Super Mario All-Stars is available now on Nintendo Switch Online, featuring all-new 16-bit graphics.

Super Mario Bros. 35 is coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers starting October 1. It won’t cost members anything more than their existing subscription fees; However, it’ll only be available until March 31, 2021. Super Mario 3D All-Stars launches for the Switch on September 18, which will also only be available until approximately March 31, 2021. And Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury comes to Switch on February 12, 2021.
