Ubisoft's 'Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game - Complete Edition' Returns This Holiday
After years of being unavailable to download.
Ubisoft announced that the previously released Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game will return with a Complete Edition for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia. The Complete Edition of the game includes the original DLC for the title: Knives Chau and Wallace Wells as playable characters.
The 2D arcade-style beat ‘em-up is based on creator Bryan Lee O’Malley’s comic book series and Edgar Wright‘s film adaptation. The game originally released digitally in August 2010 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 before being delisted in December 2014. The title has been unavailable ever since and fans have clamored online for a re-release. In August of this year, O’Malley stated on Twitter that Ubisoft had not reached out to him or the original game’s developer. However, it seems he has now embraced the announcement, stating “Huge thank you to the fans who never shut up about the Scott Pilgrim game, not once, ever, even for one second to let me sleep. This game belongs to you. Now please get out of my house.”
Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game – Complete Edition will arrive this holiday season.
In other gaming news, Ubisoft will be remaking Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time.
Also for years now i’ve been talking to @iam8bit about what a cool physical edition we could do if this game ever got a rerelease. Jon at @iam8bit & Charlie at @OniPress have been doing legwork trying to make it happen for 4+ years and still silence from @ubisoft.
