'Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time' Is Receiving a 2021 Remake
With enhanced visuals and gameplay.
Ubisoft has just announced that 2003’s hit title Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time will be returning for a 2021 remake.
One of the key gameplay components that contributed to the original title’s success is the ability to rewind time and correct mistakes, a function that will be enhanced in the reboot. Alongside updated visuals, the game will also see the return of Yuri Lowenthal’s voice, who took on the role of the eponymous prince in the 2003’s version. Ubisoft Pune’s senior producer Annu Koul will be leading the game’s development. “It’s a dream [come] true,” said Koul in a statement. “Still, people have that nostalgic feeling, people want to play that game. [...] You still have all of the characters, the Prince, the Princess, Farah, the Vizier, the original villain, it’s just we have given it a good bit more flavor, more enhancement.”
Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time will be made for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, slated to release in the month of January of 2021.
