Mizuno Launches Its Most Advanced Wave Rider Yet
Adorned in an abundance of sneaker technologies.

Following the release of its technology-infused ENERZY silhouette last month, Mizuno has released its most-advanced sneaker yet. Celebrating its innovative Wave technology, the Japanese label introduces the Wave 10 Rider, a shock absorbent offering designed for both comfort and performance.
Since the launch of the Wave Rider 1 in 1997, the famed silhouette has been the subject of numerous reworks. This 2020 iteration, however, is the most advanced yet. Featuring a thermo plastic insert which provides an energy return and increased stability, the sneaker is fitted with a highly shock absorbent foam heel wedge and AP foam midsole. Completing its comfort-focused additions, Mizuno has also added a durable outsole made from X10 Carbon Rubber.
While the sneaker’s sole arrives with an array of technology, the upper is just as complex. Boasting the brand’s AIRmesh breathable uppers and intercool system, the upper features a full ventilation system that reduces heat and pressure.
Arriving in two colorways, the Mizuno Wave Rider 10 is set to launch later this month and will be available at Footpatrol.
