Nike Dunk Low Disrupt Returns in Contrast-Stitched Black, White and Gum
A simple-yet-effective style for the dashing Dunk hybrid.
Taking its obstreperous moniker quite literally, Nike‘s Dunk Low Disrupt alters the instantly recognizable style of the Dunk Low in jarring fashion to provide a conceptual take on a classic. After debuting in a four-pack of colorways this August, the Disrupt has returned in a traditional black, white and gum build that’s given extra flair with delicate contrast stitching.
Uppers skillfully stack smooth leather Swooshes, mudguards, eyestays, collar flaps and heel pieces atop a tightly-woven mesh base for a layered all-black look. White contrast stitching on these pieces brings dissimilar detail plus an extra dash of Nike Sportswear flair, and also helps secure the exposed foam tongue. Large black leather heel tabs aid with entry and removal. On the lower half, blocky white midsoles alternate between expanded and recessed builds to further the disruptive look. Gum outsoles ground the conceptual upper both literally and figuratively.
The Nike Dunk Low Disrupt in black, white and gum is set to release via the Nike webstore in the coming weeks, though an official date is forthcoming. The MSRP is set at $110 USD, in line with past drops.
