Nike's Technical Pegasus Trail 2 Receives Lively "Volt/Black" Update
Featuring a bike tire-inspired React foam sole unit.
Nike‘s instantly popular Pegasus Trail 2 sneaker has been given a lively update through the medium of a “Volt/Black” makeover.
The new colorway follows on from the inaugural pair that combined “Barely Volt,” “Laser Blue” and “Poison Green,” as well as the stealthy “Dark Smoke Gray” offering that followed. This time around, Nike adds its signature “Volt” hue to the technical sneaker’s engineered mesh upper, and intersects the bold color with black detailing.
An oversized black swoosh adorns the majority of the lateral mid-panel, while another mini-swoosh appears towards the rear-quarter. Elsewhere, Nike adds black perforations on the toe, a black fabric tongue and matching lacing system, and a final two-toned heel tab that notes the sneaker’s moniker.
Rounding out the Nike Pegasus Trail 2 is its bike tire-inspired sole unit that packs Nike React foam cushioning inside its structure. High traction at the heel and toe provide grip and added stability, perfect for when you’re using these shoes for the hikes they’re intended for.
The Nike Pegasus Trail 2 “Volt/Black” retails for $134 USD and can be purchased from Slam Jam now.
