Previous coined as one of the best sport sandals for summer 2020, the ACG Air Deschutz is a sandal that debuted in 1992 and has since been re-released during a time when we’re all appreciating relaxed footwear more than ever. The Deschutz stands out in a world dominated by Birkenstocks and Suicokes thanks to its outdoorsy nature — the trail-like patterns and markings on the footbed aren’t just for show, as they offer grip and traction that will help you tackle all kinds of terrain.
Elsewhere, the sandal channels a robust feel with its large velcro-equipped straps and prominent plastic cages that house the classic ACG logo. This particular pair pays homage to Mount Fuji and is aptly dubbed the “Mt. Fuji” colorway, having previously been teased in Nike ACG’s Fall 2020 “Mt. Fuji” collection.
Nike has given the footbed an all-black look, and switches things up with a dark-hued, almost camouflaged khaki and “Cargo” brown print complete with line graphics highlighting the straps. Contrasting the pair is a retro-feeling Mount Fuji-inspired patch that graces the heels, as well as a red ACG logo on the side.
Take a closer look at the Nike ACG Air Deschutz “Mt. Fuji” in the gallery above. You can pick up a pair from Sneakersnstuff on August 8 for approximately $90 USD.
