Versace's Chain Reaction Sneakers Receive Regal Embellishments
An opulent two-toned colorway for the chunky silhouette.
Versace‘s Chain Reaction sneakers have been given a regal two-toned update that incorporates shiny gold accents. This iteration of the Salehe Bembury-designed silhouette follows a blue mesh and suede-tinged colorway from back in June.
The shoe is dominated by a bold color-blocked design, embodying clean white uppers and an all-gold midsole. A rubber “Chain Reaction” patch logo is placed at the top of the tongue, followed by striped rope laces that cover the forefoot. Smooth leather panels appear along the rear quarters and throatline, while semi-translucent overlays take up the toebox. Stretching from the lower heel to the sidewalls is a large rubber panel that doubles as the shoe’s eyelets. All of these details rest over a shiny gold midsole, finished off with Versace’s signature Greek key motifs and the silhouette’s Cuban-link-inspired outsole.
Versace’s two-toned Chain Reaction is currently available on 24S’ website for $1,195 USD.
