'Pikmin 3 Deluxe' is Coming to Nintendo Switch
Featuring all-new side missions.
Wii U fans will be delighted to learn that the strange and quirky Pikmin 3 is now coming to the Nintendo Switch with a new deluxe version.
Aptly named Pikmin 3 Deluxe, the remastered edition will feature all of the original game’s content, including its entire story mode on coop, its side missions, and even all of its DLC content. In addition, Nintendo has created all-new side missions you can play using both Olimar and Louie in cooperative mode, and brought in new difficulty levels as well. A Piklopedia has been created that allows you to track all the different creatures you encounter on your adventures, with more in-game mechanics also brought on, such as badge-collecting and lock-on targeting.
For those interested, Pikmin 3 Deluxe is now available for pre-purchase over on Nintendo’s eShop, retailing for $60 USD. Official release is scheduled for October 30.
Elsewhere in gaming, Street Fighter V is bringing on Rival Schools characters for its fifth and final season.
Prepare yourselves, brave explorers! Set-off for the lush planet PNF-404 when #Pikmin 3 Deluxe lands on 10/30! This version features multiple difficulty modes, new side-story missions featuring Olimar & Louie, and all the DLC from the original release. https://t.co/UbljqJUQjX pic.twitter.com/7oht5o5mZI
