Apple Opens New Retail Space in Bangkok, Thailand

Apple is opening a new retail location — the second largest in the country — in Bangkok, Thailand, deep in the heart of Ratchaprasong.

Named Apple Central World, the retail space stays consistent with its usual design aesthetic by utilizing an all-glass design surrounding the exterior, with a cantilevered Tree Canopy in the center. Customers can access the two different levels either via the spiral staircase wrapping around the timber core or ride a unique cylindrical elevator housed inside a mirror-polished stainless steel beam. Aside from just looking good, the store also comes with plenty of practical space as well. It features a Forum centered around a Video Wall which will soon be home to scheduled events called Today at Apple, bringing in Bangkok’s greatest artists, musicians, and creatives. A Boardroom is located on the lowest level, which the tech giant says will cater to entrepreneurs, developers, and local businesses when they need personal advice and guidance from the Apple team.

“We are excited for visitors to discover this truly one-of-a-kind store in Ratchaprasong,” said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail and People. “With our future Today at Apple sessions and a phenomenal team ready to welcome the community with exceptional service and support, we can’t wait for our customers to experience Apple Central World.”
