Porsche Makes a Splash in Bangkok with New Design Tower Plans and Creative Space
Launching in collaboration with Anandan Development, Stefan Bogner and a host of local partners.
Porsche is making big strides in Bangkok with the announcement of two major ventures that are set to redefine luxury living and lifestyle in the city. The German automotive giant, renowned for its high-performance vehicles, is expanding its footprint in Southeast Asia with the introduction of the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok and the opening of its Curvistan space, a creative and cultural hub formed in collaboration with celebrated visual artist, photographer and automotive writer Stefan Bogner.
The Porsche Design Tower Bangkok is set to become a landmark in the city’s skyline, blending cutting-edge design with unparalleled luxury. This ultra-luxury residence, a collaboration between Porsche Design and Ananda Development, will be the first of its kind in Asia and only the third in the world, following its iconic predecessors in Miami and Stuttgart.
Set to be located on Sukhumvit 38 in the thriving Thonglor district, the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok will offer 22 exclusive duplex and quadplex Sky Villas. These residences range from 525 to 1,135 square meters, with each unit featuring private pools, expansive living spaces and the signature “Passion Spaces” — luxury garages directly connected to the residences via private lifts. This concept caters to car enthusiasts, allowing them to showcase their prized automobiles in highly bespoke, private settings.
The tower’s design, inspired by Professor F. A. Porsche’s philosophy of optimizing function while reducing form to essentials, incorporates state-of-the-art amenities, including a 25-meter swimming pool, a performance fitness center, a spa and social lounges. The top of the 21-story building is crowned with a light signature, a nod to Porsche’s iconic lighting designs, most recognizable on the 911, creating a striking presence in Bangkok’s skyline.
Construction of the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok is scheduled to begin next year, with completion expected by the end of 2028. Even with unit pricing ranging from $15,000,000 to $40,000,000 USD per unit, the project has already seen significant interest from enthusiasts. Like the automaker’s most prized cars, these special units will only be available via application or invitation.
Stefan Buescher, Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche Lifestyle Group, shared his vision on this project stating, “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Ananda Development, marking a milestone in our constant pursuit of excellence. Porsche Design Tower Bangkok represents a groundbreaking fusion of exquisite design and optimal functionality. Our vision is to create a living space where one’s passion thrives. We aspire for passion in every endeavor, ensuring that our projects transcend living spaces to become expressions of individuality.”
Sharing the same enthusiasm, Chanond Ruangkritya, President and CEO of Ananda Development, shared “We are delighted to announce our collaboration with Porsche Design, which symbolizes an alignment of our belief – that passion fuels creativity and propels us to achieve excellence – as exemplified today in the concept of the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok. We believe the shared passion between both partners, coupled with Porsche’s excellence in luxury design and Ananda Development’s meticulous attention to detail in real estate, results in the creation of a truly exceptional residential establishment.”
In addition to the reveal of the Porsche Design Tower, Porsche Design also introduced Curvistan, a unique space, created in collaboration with Curves Magazine founder Stefan Bogner, that will serve as a hub for creative and cultural events in Bangkok. Curvistan, already popular in cities like Tokyo and Berlin, will be a place where automotive culture, art and design converge.
The space will host a variety of exhibitions, workshops and events that celebrate Porsche’s rich heritage and its ongoing commitment to innovation and design excellence. It will also offer a platform for local artists and creators to showcase their work, fostering a vibrant cultural exchange within the city.
Notably, the simultaneous launch of the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok and Curvistan underscores Porsche’s commitment to expanding its influence in Southeast Asia, a region that continues to grow in importance for the brand and produce passionate enthusiasts. These ventures work to enhance Porsche’s presence in Bangkok, as well as highlight the city’s status as a burgeoning hub for luxury living and cultural innovation.
While the Porsche Design Tower won’t be open for several more years, visitors to the vibrant city can now explore Curvistan and all it has to offer — anticipated to be a new and unique experience upon each visit as different curations, events and guests fill its rooms.
