Maison Margiela Tweaks Replica Sneakers With Detachable Barcode Patch
A playful take on the signature silhouette.

Maison Margiela has unveiled a brand new iteration of its Replica. Following its iridescent Replica Super Bounce from last month, the label has given its signature silhouette a playful detail this time around — a removable velcro patch depicting a barcode.
The shoe boasts crisp all-white uppers, constructed with smooth full-grain leather, complemented by velcro panels. Maison Margiela’s arithmetic logo is placed at the top of the tongue, complemented by flat laces and a tonal forefoot. Lush velcro panels take up the rear quarter, upon which a small woven patch of the aforementioned barcode can be placed. Completing the design is a flat, smoothly rounded midsole that emphasizes the shoe’s sleek mold.
Maison Margiela’s Replica Barcode sneakers are currently available on LUISAVIAROMA’s website for $550 USD.
