Tekla Fabrics Launches 'Sacred Places' Photo Book

Following on from the launch of its first-ever sleepwear capsule, Danish label Tekla Fabrics has revealed its first photo book, working with photographer Philip Messmann for Sacred Places. The book’s title reflects its theme, to capture “the dream of a sacred place. Places, both in the past or the future, fictive or real, we travel to when we want to escape.”
All of the imagery contained within the book was shot at Fyrgaarden on the idyllic Danish island of Anholt, creating the sacred place of the title. Throughout the book, model Federikke Sofie wears pieces from Tekla’s core collection, showcasing the functionality of these pieces.
The book is limited to just 500 issues, alongside 50 special editions that come with photographic prints, and was launched alongside an exhibition in Copenhagen. Sacred Places is available now from the Tekla web store.
