Versace Gives Its Chunky Chain Reaction 2 Sneakers the Blue Treatment
As part of its forthcoming Fall/Winter 2019 range.
As part of its forthcoming Fall/Winter 2019 seasonal range, Versace has dropped a new colorway of its recently debuted Chain Reaction 2 sneakers. Designed by Salehe Bembury, the updated silhouette features identical characteristics as the previous, yet opts for a different paneling layout of the upper’s cage — it also is no longer rubber, trading the material for various leathers.
The new iteration has been doused in blue mesh and suede, interchanged with gray highlights that are placed throughout. This is met by a standard lace-up fastening system, braille “love” lettering on the toe, and of course, the shoe’s head-turning Chain Link outsole that’s marked with the brand’s various motifs.
You can check out the made-in-Italy sneaker in the gallery above. If you’re interested in picking up a pair of the sneakers for yourself, head over to Antonia’s web store where they are retailing for approximately $750 USD.
