Mizuno‘s Wave Prophecy 13.2 lands for the Fall/Winter 2026 season as a street-rebuilt take on the brand’s performance running platform. Reconstructed from the Wave Prophecy 13, the model keeps its sculptural sole architecture while reworking the upper’s detailing for everyday wear.
The centerpiece is Mizuno’s proprietary full-length Infinity Wave sole unit, a layered structure engineered to balance cushioning, cushioning longevity, and stability across the length of the foot. A U4ic midsole handles the lightweight cushioning duties, while a softer U4icX sponge sits underfoot for added comfort. Down below, an X10 carbon rubber outsole brings the durability, rounding out a tooling package built as much for function as for its visual heft.
Up top, the synthetic fiber and artificial leather upper carries reworked heel and tongue detailing along with refined branding, giving the silhouette a more elevated finish than its running-focused base. Reflective material threads through the build to boost low-light visibility, and a removable cup insole sits inside a 2E standard-width fit.
Sustainability runs through the construction as well. The upper lining and insole surface textiles both use 90 percent or more recycled material, while the wave plate is built with plant-derived Pebax Rnew.
