Engineered Garments Teams up With New Balance for Limited 990v5

Engineered Garments is set to release a collaborative pair of New Balance 990v5. Arriving in grey, black, and navy, the updated silhouette sees uppers constructed with suede and mesh panels, along with plastic accents around the ankle area. All three pairs are relatively simple and clean with tonal shades making up each panel. One detail that stands out are the various debossed patterns at the heel and over the “N” logo. For cushioning, this EG x New Balance collab retains the long-standing ENCAP midsole technology and dual density collar foam.
Those interested in this minimal/modern take on a New Balance classic can find them releasing at NEPENTHES New York on July 23rd at 12pm as part of NEPENTHES’ New Balance pop-up.
